The Taylor County Road Department maintains County roads and bridges that are dedicated to public use. Road Department duties include:

  • Maintaining County Roads
  • Mowing County Right of Way
  • Maintaining & Repairing County Bridges
  • Removing Trees, Limbs & Debris from County Roads
  • Responding to Flooding due to Excessive Amounts of Rain
  • Installing, Replacing, and Repairing all County Signs
  • Issuing Logging Permits
  • Inspecting New and Existing Driveways
  • Cleaning out Ditches, Driveways & Culverts
  • Repairing and Cleaning Roadways and Right of Way due to Storms

The Road Department Garage services and maintains all county vehicles and equipment.
